Hi, I believe you have to clean your mouse. that's no joke. You have to unscrew it and and clean out al the parts with a toothbrush and tooth-pic.. If that does'nt work. replace mouse with optic mouse.
Good luck.

Mouse won't scroll when rolling the middle button up and down

Mouse movement is controlled by either the device drivers (look for updates) or the settings. Check you operating system settings for the mouse and see if they are up-to-date. Other than that, is the device drivers and computer settings are correct, the mouse middle control is defective. Try to alternate with another mouse and see if that happens when using an alternate device. That is the test for a defective mouse.

Hi,

Connect an external mouse then press and hold the CTRL key on the keyboard. Just scroll down the scroll wheel located in between the left and right click buttons on the mouse and it should zoom out the page.

Hope this helps.

Apple mouse won't scroll down, how do you take apart to clean-no visable screws

I've had this issue as well.
Step 1) Get a clean piece of paper Step 2) Flip mouse upside down so the bottom is facing up and the mouse wheel is facing the paper. Roll the mouse on the paper up and down quickly, ensuring the wheel is in direct contact with the paper.
That should clean it. It's a known issue.

What I'm trying to scroll, won't scroll as fast as I want it to.

If you click the start menu, then click control panel, and select mouse, you will get a pop up window, one of the tabs at the top of this window is 'wheel' there you will see an option to change the number of lines the wheel will scroll with each notch
hope this helps.

Mouse wheel won't scroll up/down!! It has been 2 days that my mouse wheel doesn't scroll down. When I click on the wheel, it works fine but it's when I roll the wheel, it doesn't work. How should I solve...

The quickest solution is to do one of the two options: If USB - unplug it and plug it back in. If PS2 - shutdown machine, unplug and plug back in, power up. Also check for clenliness of the wheel. Thanks.
