If your computer came with a motherboard disc the sound drivers could be on it
click start control panel administrive tools computer management device manager scroll to sound, video and game controllers you might see a yellow question mark? Right click to reinstall drivers or uninstall
click start control panel sounds and audio, volume, advanced, speakers make sure you have selected the
(((appropriate speakers))) also audio you will find 3 drop down lists make sure you have the correct settings there
check all power leads from motherboard to hard drive and all of your cd/dvd drives make sure the connections are good and not faulty and there is no dust built up on them
another possible reason could be a memory dump you might be running to many programs at the one time placing to much strain on the CPU also you might not have enough RAM random access memory to check what is running when your computer is running scroll to the bottom toolbar right click select task manager applications and processes if you see something you dont need running select end now to check how much ram you have click start right click on my computer select properties you will see all of your computers details another way to check how much RAM you have click start all programs accessories system tools system imformation all of your computers imformation will be there try uninstalling a few unnecessary programs then click start run type cmd then type chkdsk/r/f which will scan for and attempt to fix any bad sectors and automatically fix any corrupt files on your hard drive this will schedule on a restart don

Problem getting my bose soundlink to play blue tooth audio from my laptop.

Hi Sirtuan.

Go to the system panel, there choose "sound" . a list with all available sound devices appear. search for your bose soundlink and make it your "standard device".
had the same prob. with my BT headset and this works for me.

if your bose get disconnected the sound should automatically switch to pc speakers.

Regards
Gue.

Why my headset not working/realtek?

Do the speakers work? Maybe you have the headset plugged into the wrong Jack. Maybe you have the headset on Mute. If the speakers work, unplug where the speakers go into the computer's port and plug the headset into that same port and see if you hear anything. If not, maybe your headset is bad.

My motorla bluetooth pairs with my cel phone but I can't get any sound. I've tried turning the sound up to the loudest and still nothing. Any suggestions?

Sometimes two diffrent brands will not communicate proper.

Try connect the headset to another phone is it now working?

If Yes --> then I'm sorry but it seems your cel and the headset are not compatible.

If No --> then the problem is most like a technical defect. Go back to your reseller for another headset or let your reseller demonstrate a correct functional headset.

Good Luck.

I own two SAVV VAC-IR14 wireless headsets that I use with my SAVV video DVD car player. I am no longer able to hear anything through the headsets. I've replaced the batteries but no sound. Any...

Try checking the base-station and the frequency they're tuned to.

If they both all of a sudden didn't work it must be an issue with the player or the base-station.

Hope this helps!

I have same issue, worked perfectly for about year, then all of a sudden when I receives a call I could not ear anything. The other end can ear me, and I can make commands to my phone still but, I hear nothing.

Cannot hear anything out of the earpiece of my GN netcom 9120 wireless headset

I was also experiencing the same problem (also after a power failure / storm) -- apparently good battery charge, connections ok, etc. I then tried removing the battery from the headset itself, waited 30 seconds, and then reinstalled the battery. This seems to have resolved the problem.

It is fairly easy to open the clamshell, but you will need a very fine Phillips screwdriver to remove the battery hold-in (it's really not a hold-down, it just keeps the battery in place. Reassemble the same way -- be sure to keep positive to positive and negative to negative.
