HELLO MY SONY DCR-DVD703E is not operating with a old or new disk inside it keeps saying disk error and has c:13.02 in the top right hand corner so i cannot record anything at the moment and my sons birthday is on saturday could you help me

    I have this same problem with brand new discs that I just ordered and received. Could it be a problem with the dis format?

This happen to mine when i was trying to copy to my hdd recorder wipe the disk on your jeans or something that is not going to put extra stuff on the disk and mine was all fixed up it stopped having c:13.02 on the top right corner

Have you try clean the optic using lens cleaner. If you never do this for long time, you can try it now before retry your disc.

theres a tiny switch on the sd card that locks and unlocks it all you have to do is click the swith back to unlock haha i had the same problem before

Drivers,manuals and other softwares can be download on their downloads page.

Type the model number which is the dcr-hc21 and then when it loads the page, on the left hand corner of the page, look for the Drivers section. On that section, scroll down and choose the Windows version you are using.

Disk error 13.01


This means the the floppy disk drive has dirty the reader/recorder heads, or the heads are misaligned, or the floppy has a mechanical problem during the reading process.

You can start in blowing compressed air inside the floppy disk.

If it does not work, then the floppy drive will need to be serviced or replaced.

Use good quality Video Head Cleaning tape to clean heads.

the floppy drive of the camera is not working, or in other words the error code c:13:01 displayed is for not spining the floppy disc. get it repaired from an expert camera repairer
