The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program, such as Picasa.

Sony Cybershot DSC-W200 digital camera. Suddenly and for no apparent reason it can no longer be switched on. Blank screen, no lens movement, no sound, totally dead. I substituted a spare, fully charged...

Try this:
Remove the batteries at the same time that you remove the camera's memory card. This will allow the camera to reset. The camera does not require the memory card to operate, so leave the memory card out as you reinsert the batteries. If the camera turns on with the memory card out, but not with it in, you may have a corrupt memory card. Contact the memory card's manufacturer for a replacement.
Turn on the camera in playback mode. This mode allows you to turn on the camera without extending the lens. If your camera is already set to playback mode, it may appear the camera is not turning on when you press the "on" button, because the lens will not extend.Contact Sony if your camera still won't turn,if you bought your camera new from a licensed retailer, it should come with a one-year manufacturer's warranty. My sony cybershot dsc-t200 will not turn on. None of the buttons or switches work. The battery is charged. For a while, it wouldn't turn on unless I put the battery on the charger for a few minutes first....

Yes its could be the battery ,have you try the power plug from the charger to see if its works if yes you may suspect the battery
because the ion lithium battery after a while of charging they come with a memory effect so when you charge it, they only charge a part
of the power and dont charge fully..

hope that will help you
