Question about Texas Instruments TI-83 Plus Calculator

Lost i am trying to figure how you use the caculator to power to the next. I see x2 and 10x but i need to use a different power like 12.

In order to have numbers to a different power you would need to press this key ^ then type the power
so it would look like 10^8

Press SHIFT MODE 7 and it will prompt for the number of digits.

I need help with this casio caculator


If you mean to do x power y, so you must have an ^ button or y with little x(top right) this is the power. And when you want negative power like -2 so input 2 then "+/-" button (it's change the sign of the number).

Why do I get the wrong answer when doing a percent calculation?

Make sure that you are following the correct procedure.
Adding 10%: 200 [×] 10 [%] [+]
Subtract 10%: 200 [×] 10 [%] [-]

Caculator Trouble


Try taking out ALL batteries (including the little round one) and leave them out one whole night.
