Hello & Welcome to FixYa

Dishwasher not draining completely problem usually occurs due to clogged/blocked drain hose-filter assembly or the drain pump not working. First try to clean the drain hose and drain pump filter located inside the front bottom panel for any clogs, then check drain pump operation. Take off the bottom access panel to clean the drain pump filter and hose. If the problem returns after cleaning then it is the drain pump that needs replacement. Please get back to me if you have any other questions.

My Kenmore Elite dishwasher did not drain the water out of the bottom after the dishes were washed last night. Could I possibly have pushed a wrong button to keep it from draining, or do I have a problem?...

Yes , If the program controller has hung it would have skipped the drain cycle. So try to redo the cycle and see if the drain works, is not check the program controller and the drain valve/pump.- if there is food particles that have clogged and blocked.

Bosch dishwasher shx55m with bottom tub full of water

The dishwasher really shouldn't pass any particles near large enough to clog the drain hose. It sounds more like a mechanical issue. Check the circuit breaker to make sure it's not tripped. See if you can hit a cancel button or something to make it drain. Try to run another cycle. If the computer is stuck or acting funny, trying cutting the power for a while, holding down a stop/reset/cancel button, or running a cycle that you don't usually run. I had this kitchenaid that would randomly refuse the normal wash cycle, but would run fine when you ran rinse only or something, then regular wash and everything would be fine again too. If the line somehow is clogged, there's a good chance it's right where the hose connects to the disposal or drain pipe.

Bosch dishwasher has standing water doesnt drain out, repair man pushed 2 buttons cancel drain and it drained last month, but happened again today and it wont work for me

Fixed mine very easily... After checking and cleaning the filters by the tub's drain, I checked the air vent atop the sink -- it had a small bit of gunk trapped in the outlet. Cleaned it out, ran a "rinse & hold" cycle and it drained the tub beautifully!

Standing water in bottom of dishwasher...didn't drain.

hit the cancel drain cycle. Often times the dishwasher drain hose is not installed properly. It must be routed up as high as the dishwasher as soon as it comes out of the unit. May be also that there was a little regular soap or something that made it sudds up. vegetable oil poured into the dw tub will remove the sudds. Try to wash again after cleaning out the sudds and run it again. Thanks

Hello Ramona Doug,
Try disconnecting power from your dishwasher for a few minutes to clear the memory and then reapply power again. Start a wash cycle without dishes on the hottest water setting and after a few minutes.. pause the wash and add a few cups of white vinegar to the wash water.,. that will help break up deposits in the system.. See if that gets you going properly.

Whirlpool front loading washer

The 02 error code relates to a drain problem. Check that the drain hose is not kinked or clogged. Straighten the hose for adequate water flow. Regarding the spinning noises and vibration, open washer's rear panel and look for a released or a malfunction shock absorber. Good luck!

Water pouring out of my Kenmore HE3t

Teach, usually all leaks are visable. Have your husband remove the lower panel by removing the 3 #11 torxs on the bottom panel and pull down and off. Now you can see the tub drain hose and filter. First check the dispensor drawer. Remove it and check to see if you have anything blocking the inlet tube to the tub. Sometimes a seal from a fab or detergent cap blocks the entrance. When the disp. is out just reach in with a finger in front and you will feel the inlet grate. Next inspect the boot. Make sure there are no cuts or rips. Once you feel that this checks out ok, replace the disp. drawer and put the machine in the test cycle. On the left side press drain/spin. On the right side press spin speed until No spin is lit. Then press the prewash button 4 times until C:00 is displayed. Now let it do it's thing. It will fill, rotate, drain and spin. It will end with C:08 in the display. With the bottom panel off during the test, see if you can find the source of the leak. You can push cancel/drain anytime to stop the test. Catriver.
