Cuicut breaker keep poping

I would think it would be apparent that you have a dead short, as to the location you will need a wiring diagram to trace it down. Good luck if you are not a car electrical expert, it can be a nightmare.

Where is 30A circuit breaker for power windows?

all windows dead? why not give clues, and not just boring hunts.
i just happen to have the book open.
i guess no books? and not schematic? to see all that>?
ill pretend you said all windows dead.
and then answer
CB 15 and CB 21, shows IN DASH fuse box.
so.... its not breaker, CB means Cab box, not Circuit breaker
its just 2 fuses. and both are marked.
the output wires
are blu/wht
and brn/wht.
and go to the power windows relays same spot

only those 2 nodes going dead (0v) will cause all windows dead.

Tripping circuit breaker

All circuits ultimatey are completed to earth (negative) so this can sometimes trick you. Try to isolate portions of the circuit that you are testing and then use your meter to check for continuity to ground. A tripped circuit breaker usually indicates a dead short. Look for bare wire making unwanted contact. More info about what you are working on would help

Dead short

A electrical dead shot is when an electrical circuit has zero resistance; this happens when an electrical feed comes into contact with metal objects such as a metal outbox, the ground, or a neutral wire. A common sign of a dead shot is a tripped breaker.

My head lights will turn off after a short time on. If I cycle the headlight switch it solves the problem for anywhere from a few seconds to 15 or 20 minutes. This only involves the headlights, not the...

Headlights are usually protected by self resetting circuit breaker instead of a throw away fuse. If you are certain of no dead short in the headlight circuit, the only other option is a new circuit breaker. Since you get various times of normal operation after the breaker resetts, I would suspect the breaker rather than a short.

Power windows stopped working

If ALL the windows quit working, then it's either a bad circuit breaker or a short circuit. There are two fuse/relay/breaker panels: under the hood and under the back seat cushion. The power window circuit breaker is under the back seat cushion, near the battery. Remove the back seat completely, then remove the fuse panel top and inner cover. The fuse diagram is inside the top cover. Circuit breaker # 57 is the one. Pull it out. Use your voltmeter/multi-tester to check for continuity through the breaker. If there's no continuity, the breaker is bad and needs to be replaced. If it's good, then you have a dead short somewhere that causes the self-resetting breaker to uncouple when you attempt to operate a window. If so, the short will need to be traced down and repaired. Good luck.

99 GMC Suburban -- While driving engine cut

Does it tick then a bit later tick again? If so that's most likely an automatic circuit breaker that you hear. If you have a short in the wiring the circuit breaker kicks out (tick) and shuts that circuit down, after a minute or so the circuit breaker cools enough to reset itself (tick again). That would explain the truck shuting down. The circuit breaker will continue to reset itself until the battery goes dead, I would suggest disconnecting the battery until you can get it to a shop. You have a short in the wiring somewhere. Good Luck!

Heater/ A/c blower wont work circuit breaker wont reset

If the circuit breaker trips as soon as you reset it, then you have a dead short somewhere. It can be in the wiring or the blower motor may be bad. Another possibility is a shorted blower motor speed control or blower motor resistor pack.

I've noticed that my high beam indicator light is always on even when the key is removed, and that my day time driving lights are very very dim, could it be a short????

Yes, it could be a resistive short (versus a dead short) which means enough current is being pulled thru the short to cause the headlights to dim, but not enough to open a breaker or blow a fuse/link. Sounds like the short is in the headlight circuit. Check all connections.
