If Windows is giving you trouble opening GPD files, you should either:

A) Identify a program that can open the file, or
B) Check your registry for damage caused by hidden errors.

Downloading on mac A1181

Molly As it says the file needs an application to open it, what type of suffix does it have on it by this I mean does it have either .zip, .jpg, .doc, .exe or something else on the end of it. This would identify what application you need to open it. Do you know what the file is you are trying to download? If you could tell me what type of file it is I should be able to help you.

I want TTFSUB. GPD files for HP 1100 A

That's the print spooler files for your printer. Just uninstall the printer and reinstall the print drivers using the included software.
Steps:
1) Go into Control Panel~Device Manager (Devices and Printers in Win 7)~right click on the HP printer and left click on Remove Device. 2) Reinstall the printer using the HP software that was included with the printer or go to the HP web site to download the software if you have lost the original disk.
That should do it.

Hpc20155.xml is needed. i don't know why this happened. i can't use my printer HP LaserJet P2015.

Hi,

You have to end a .inf file from Microsoft to get it to work. Open up c:\windows\inf\oem16.inf in your favorite text editor. Search for "hpc20155.xml" and you will find this section:
;hp LaserJet 2015 files
[DATA_FILES_20155]
hpc20155.xml,,,0x00000020
hpzsc43e.dtd,,,0x00000020
hpc20155.gpd,,,0x00000020
hpc2015b.ini,,,0x00000020
Change hpc20155.xml,,,0x0000002 to hpc2015.xml,,,0x00000020 (take out the last 5 in hpc20155.xml). Save it and go back to add a new printer in windows. This should fix the problem.
There is one thing to add, however: the name of the oem inf file might be slightly different on different computers. Easiest way to find it is to go to Start –> Search –> Files and Folders; Set your search location to C:\Windows\Inf, and enter “hpc20155.xml” in the field labeled "”A word or phrase in the file”. If you get multiple results, you’ll have to check them one by one; just follow the rest of the bjones’ walkthrough from that point on.

Thanks.
