Samsung LN-T5265F I have a Samsung LN-T5265F TV and it is totally dead. No power getting past the 110v input cord. I have been told that it is almost certainly a bad power supply. I am competent to replace it (I believe). Can you give me the part number? Joe M

View the utube video to repair the tv. Mine did that, and I fixed the capacitors on the power supply. They're available on Ebay for five bucks. Don't be intimidated, it's not hard.

I have the same tv with the same problem. Sometimes it would last for 5 or 10 minutes. Sometimes it wouldn't do it for months at a time. Now I have total color distortion all the time. I am told it is a power supply problem. (capacitors) I'm planning to remove the back & find out.

LN-T5265F Samsung takes couple min to power on (clicking while).

Take the back off and look at the power supply. Top right on the board, see if a capacitor has gone bad. I've seen up to 4 caps go bad in the little area. replace with a higher voltage and you'll be good to go.

If the line is vertical and "One Pixel Wide" (Pinstripe) then the LCD Panel is bad and needs to be replaced. Contact 1-800-SAMSUNG to set up service.
