Hp3210 ink system failure


Turn off the machine, unplug the power cord from the back of the machine, remove ink cartridges, wait 2 min, plug power cord back in, press on button, wait until the printer prompts you to replace the missing ink cartridges, then replace the ink cartridges. If this doesn't clear the error you may need to re-prime ink through the lines. There are instructions for doing this at www.ccl-la.com/blog/. Search for HP Photosmart and run through the "ink system failure" #1 instructions.

Printer is showing ink system failure. what does this mean? how can it be fixed?do we just need to replace all of the ink cartridges? help!


Hi,

Ink system failure indicated that ink delivery mechanism of the printer is experiencing problem. We need to do below resets for this printer to fix this issue.

Solution 1:

  • Press the On button to turn of the printer.
  • Unplug the power cord from the back of the printer and from wall outlet or surge protector.
  • Removed all the ink cartridges
  • Wait for 2 minutes
  • Connect the power cord and turn the printer On.
  • Install the ink cartridges
(Please go to solution 2 if the problem is not resolved)

Solution 2:
  • Remove all the ink cartridges.
  • While the printer is ON, unplug the power cord from the back of the printer.
  • Press and hold OK and Cancel button, while holding these buttons connect the power cord.
  • Release the button after 20 seconds.
  • Turn on the printer if it goes off and install the cartridges.

Ink Failure on HP photosmart premium C309g printer


Turn off the machine, unplug the power cord from the back of the machine, remove the ink cartridges (lift the lid up at the base of the control panel), wait 2 min, plug the power cord back in, press the on button, wait until the printer prompts that the ink cartridges are missing, then replace the ink cartridges. If this doesn't fix the problem you may have to re-prime the ink lines to clear the error. I have to ask this question of you, just to make sure this is not an issue. Are you using a factory new ink or toner cartridge?
Please consider the following:
If you are using a refilled (the absolute worst possible choice) or third party cartridges (2nd. Worst possible choice) that may well be your problem. Most manufacturers build logic into their products to prevent the use of “Other Equipment Manufactured” cartridges as well as re-filled cartridges.
They do this to prevent problems from contaminated inks or toner causing problems with print quality or damaging the physical printhead or photo conductors.
If you are using factory new ink or toner cartridges, then please call the manufacturer’s Technical Support for assistance with the warranty on the cartridges

Have a hp 3310 it says ink system failure error 0xc18a0106 it wont print,scan,copy and it does have enough ink. thank 4 ur help

HP c6150 all in one error message Oxc19acff Ink System Failure. Replaced Yellow ink cartridge an still receive error.

There are several causes for ink failures. Please provide a better description of the failure.

The two most common failures are:

1) Using third party ink cartridges or refilled ink cartridges.

2) Failing to remove the packing tape that covers the contacts on the cartridge.

Cannot overide "wrong cartridge" message when using oem cart


Lexmark International does not recommend the use of third party inks or inkjet cartridge refill kits. Genuine Lexmark inks and cartridges are perfectly matched to the printing system. Using genuine Lexmark ink and cartridges ensures that every document produced is of the highest possible print quality, providing long-term dependable service from your Lexmark printer.
Lexmark cannot assure the excellent print quality and reliability of its inkjet cartridges after a cartridge has been refilled. Using incompatible inks in an attempt to extend the life of a genuine Lexmark cartridge beyond its recommended usage can cause failures in several different areas of the printer. Inkjet cartridges and printer failures caused by refilling or a third party ink are not covered by your Lexmark printer Warranty, Extended Warranty or Service Agreement.

Please use genuine Lexmark cartridges for best results.
