Mtx 1501d no sound

I have a 1501d that was working great when I shut it off. When I turned it back on later the red L.E.D. light comes on but no sound. The amp doesn't smell burnt. I unhooked everything and rehooked it back up just to check it over.... nothing. Hooked up another amp with same sub (15" 9500 mtx) and it worked fine. Does anyone know of same problem with these amps or how to fix. Thanks Fatcatfred

is the 9500 a dvc or a svc??? i wanna say that the 1501 was a 2ohm stable amp,but you can still go under the ohms... i had 4 mtx9515's on 4 1501d's and i went under the ohm load and popped all 4 amps.... when you get a shot. mic the sub " voltage meter " and make sure that the sub is not throwing a bad load.... especially if the sub got warm it could clip the amp. and in turn pop goes the amp.....

I have the same problem, i pulled the covers off and some of the transistors are totally fried. the ones that are visibly bad are....FET: 257 and FET:441,439,435,442,440,438,436. Also R436 (looks like a resistor) looks bad as well as R435. Does anyone know what these components controll? can i replace these?

There are a number of things that can cause it to act as you described. Have you pulled the covers off of it yet to see if you can see any problems?

If you do, disconnect power from it and don't touch ANYTHING on the board when ANY of the 3 LEDs (2 are not visible from the outside) are lit.

Car radios don't have a 'memory wire'. Memory is held in integrated circuit chips called EPROMS, (electronically programmable, read only modules).

2012 jeep dead

Replace your battery. It's dead I feel. You can try to fully charge it up but if you had to replace the fluid in the battery it does not sound good. Make sure your battery cables are tight and clean on both ends.

My ripspeed incar dvd player has got no picture but has got the sound what can i do to make this work

First thing comes to mind is a possible update to the system. Have you had it for a while now? If so, you should go to the computer and go the maker of the unit. Check under software updates or downloads to see if there has been a remedy or fix that the maker has published, if so...then do as it says to do and see if this resolves the problem before you get into the actual technicals of the unit. It may need nothing more. I hope this helps.

JVC KD-R330 Won't turn off Demo mode - tried instructions. Every time I follow the instructions (Turn on, Hold Menu, push "vol" button, change to Demo off...etc) It doesn't work. In fact, as soon as I...

Hi,

Do you have a Bluetooth adapter plugged into the KD-R330?

A compatible Bluetooth adapter (like the KS-BTA100) usually plugs into the rear auxiliary port of the receiver. It then needs to be "paired" with your Bluetooth device, for example, a Bluetooth phone headset.

What you're describing sounds like what can when no Bluetooth device has been "paired" yet.

If you don't HAVE a Bluetooth adapter connected to your KD-R330....is it possible you accidentally plugged something into its rear auxiliary jack? Or the front auxiliary? In other words, is it possible your KD-R330 receiver is mistaking some other device for a Bluetooth adapter?

Don't know if that helps at all...if there's no adapter issue, and nothing connected to the AUX jacks, probably your next step should be a call to JVC, or whatever number you were given for tech support.

On the bright side, since the receiver turns on, and responds to some commands, you probably didn't mess up anything major in the wiring. And, there's also the possibility the receiver is defective....certainly if this continues, and JVC can't help you, trying a replacement might be worth a try.

BTW, feel free to post a reply...I'm going to look further to see if there's any other documented issue besides an adapter that might cause the problem you're having.

Lightning audio b150.2 as soon as +12 is hooked up blows 25 amp fuse and the c2 1000uf/35v capacitors blow???????

Disconnect all speaker connections and rca cables. Leave power, ground and remote wires intact. Try turning on again. If you still have a protection light your amp is faulty. Hopefully you have warranty. Double check all connections .A thumbs up would be greatly appreciated if this answer is helpful to you.
