Good Day Mischa!
It depends on your system as to what drive letter it assigned to your sd card.
Your system drive is C or local drive ( C:)
If it is not partitioned or you do not use additional hard disk, the next letter will be assigned to the DVD/CD drive or CD drive ( D:)
The next letter will be assigned to any removable deviced like usb flash drive or sd card.
Removable drive ( E:) or most of the time removable drive is F:.
The files on your SD card can be explored on the removable drive in your Explorer.
And also remember, there are files that are hidden in SD card when it is infected with virus. I hope this is not your concern. If somehow you can access your SD card and can see from its properties that it used space and yet you do not see any files it is infected. Run antivirus and anti-malware.
This Tablet Personal Computer [PC] takes Micro Secure Digital [SD] Cards.
To transfer pictures from a Digital Camera to this PC, if the Camera also
takes Micro SD cards, is simply a matter of removing the Micro SD card from the Camera and installing it in the PC's Micro SD Card Slot and then waiting for the PC's AutoPlay function to serve up the photo files stored on the card, which can then be Dragged and Dropped into a photo folder on the PC.
If
the Camera takes SD Cards, then a Micro SD to SD Card Adapter is required so
that the PC's Micro SD Card can fit in the camera before pictures are
taken and then disconnected from the adapter afterwards, for re-insertion in the PC.
If
the Camera takes a different type of Memory Card, then a Multi Card Reader
might be required, which would be connected to the computer's USB Port
and the Memory Card slotted into its matching slot in the Card Reader.
