Kenwood KCD1W tumble dryer not heating up replaced element and all three stats still not getting hot ?

Check main cable connections and power from main circuit. Possible one leg is open because of circuit breaker defective, open circuit from breaker through connection on the back of the drier. Sometimes the connector internal at the power connection will fail (see second image).

Check Thermo-fuse. If this thermo-fuse fails it will need to be replaced. (see first image).

If only one leg that supplies 120 volts is powered then motor and controls can operate. the heater elements are the part of the dryer that requires the other leg for the 240.

Hope this helps?

Kenwood KD-76F Turntable Problem

There is an adjustment in the postion sensor switch of the tone arm located under the support housing. BE VERY CAREFULL in lifting or fliping the unit over. If you can lock the arm in postion please do so before proceding. There may be some dust in a optical sensor or the postion sensor switch may be loose and just need repostioning to the correct location. If your not technicaly inclinded I suggest a strong blast of air in this area may solve your dilemma, possibilty hair dryer(NO HEAT), air compressor(max 20 to 40psi) or a good seat of lungs.

Try this site and see if they can help you out. I would imagine that you are overseas somewhere, can find anything washer or dryer type for Kenwood here in the states. Let me know if they cant help you, will do a little more looking for you. JIM
