    Thanks penny,

A magnet is interesting, I have 3 boys so it is not out of the question. I said growing, but actually they haven't gotten any bigger. Now that I think about it, it didn't seem to gradually get bigger, they just appeared. Hope that is a better description!

You may have exposed it to a magnet. If they are growing...It's probably permanent, you might have to get a new one. If they aren't growing, then it's probably just temproarily damaged. Or, on the bright side, you could just try tightening the wires. It usually always works.

Tv screen is high in green color what settings do I need to be on

If your TV has a color temperature setting; it is probably on medium. Try it on warm. This will decrease the amount of green and increase the red.

Otherwise you will need access to the tint/hue controls; adjusting it more toward red will help.

Green hue/tint

Need to do the alignment feature where it refocuses the light beams. Convergance. Look through the set up. Different magnetism and shaking of the set has thrown it off most likely. Auto focus maybe what its called.

Green Hue over Sony SXRD near Projection TV.

Although Sony calls it the Optical Block, your problem is the light engine. If you don't have an extended warranty or it's not covered by recall, be prepared for the part's sticker shock. I had an RCA DLP which the company bought back from me after replacing three light engines -- I bought a Sony next. Experienced in the matter, one day I saw green blobs that quickly went away but I called my dealer immediately. They ordered the part and Sony replaced the light engine on my KDS60a2020 under warranty. I watched the technician make the repair and was amazed that he almost completely dismantled the TV in my home, so, it is best to get a Sony tech. (Or purchase a new TV, given the cost of the part and service call.)

3LCD Projection TV 2.5 years old displaying blue hue/blobs

I would first try a new lamp. If the reflector portion of the lamp has any defects, it could show up this way as the light would not be uniform. The next possibility is a defective light engine. The engine portion if not field repairable and would need to be replaced. Try the lamp first and let us know what happens.

Hello!

The manual to this TV says:

- The station may have broadcast difficulties. Try another channel.
Adjust the TINT and/or COLOR in the PICTURE menu.
If you change the direction of the TV while it is turned on, the picturecould suffer from color shading. If so, turn off the TV and allow it to cool
for several hours before turning it on again.

Here is a link to the "Troubleshooting" part of the manual. I hope it will help you
