First, turn the key switch to LOCK. Disconnect the battery and wait a few minutes to make sure the airbag is disarmed. Remove the engine cover panels from below the engine. If you need more room, consider removing the air cleaner, upper radiator support, battery and tray and the coolant reservoir and hose.

Remove the starter wires then the starter. Pay attention to which bolt goes to which hole as they are different lengths. Putting it back together should be self explanatory. Good luck!

I have a toyota corolla 1986 4 door salon, the water is'nt circulating, the water pump is'nt leaking in fact their is no leakage, but my car overheats, the belts are working - does anyone have any ideas?...

If there is heat coming out of the vents than you know the water pump is working. This would leave the thermostat as a likely cause of the overheating. Especially if the radiator never gets hot.

1992 toyota corolla starter replacement

If you like doing your own repairs, I'd like to recommend having a Haynes service manual on hand; it will give you all the info you need to do home-based repairs:

We have a manual for each of our vehicles and even when a job is destined for a workshop, you can get a rough idea of how much labor it entails and therefore how much it should cost.

Heat blower motor stopped

Hi. And welcome to FixYa. You need to remove the glove box door, and then you can get to the blower motor. 3 screws holds it in. Easy to remove.

A FIxYa rating for my assistance (4 blue diamonds) would realy be appreciated.

Toyota corolla radio problem - buttons wont work

More than likely the only thing you can do for this situation is to replace this radio. If you have an extended warrenty see if this is covered. Otherwise you may just have to replace the radio. I would say if you want something newer and a little more stylish, look into getting an aftermarket radio installed. Or if you prefer to stay with an oem radio, then check your local salvage yards for prices on an oem radio for your vehicle and also take a look on eBay. eBay would most likely be the cheapest. If you do not know how to install it yourself then have the dealer do it for you or an audio shop. That way you only pay for labor charge and not labor and parts. Call both places and see who will do it for the best price. It's a simple task for either of them and they will both do it just as good. Hope this helps, good luck!

Corolla 2003 rear bumper

Pop the trunk and remove the screws or clips thats connecting the bumper there, and then do the same thing in the wheel wheel and under the bumper along the lip and it should come right off. There might be some under the tail lights so you might have to take out the tail lights.
