you are suppose to use a RCA cord to connect the DVD player to your TV. The RCA cord is a yellow white and red cord. You can get the cord from any electronics parts store in your area or online from ebay.com or amazon.com
Below is a picture of what the RCA cord looks like for quick identification;
After you have gotten the cord, let me know if you don't know how to connect the cord from the DVD player to the.
Usually where the power cord goes it tells you what kind it is (i.e. 12vDC). From my experience, Radio Shack offers different kinds of cords as well as plugs for the unit that match up with the plug on your player. I'd go there and check it out but bring the unit with you and they will match things up.
See my other posting. I doubt it's your power cord at all. These units
are notorious for this. Do a 'google' search on them and see what I
mean. I can only reccomend that you invest in some research before
buying another one. Price is NOT everything! It ain't a bargin if it's
worthless! (Or: Paying anything, however little, is TOO much for
something worth nothing) I will canabolize mine for the screen. I paid
$20.00 for it at Goodwill. I know how to do this, but I realize most
folks don't, or do not have the time, nor inclination to do so. I'm
disabled, so time I have, money I don't.
