I have a Maytag bravos 300 quiet series dryer that had a error code of F73. Lights come on without code but still doesn't start. Problem?

The F73 error code means that one or more of the control buttons on the touch pad is defective. You can clear the error code by the pushing clear/cancel button, if it doesn't reoccur all is well. If it ever happens again, you will need to replace the touch pad

Check that door is fully closed. Or turn on dryer and manually press the door switch to see if that works. If not than it is that switch. A thermoswitch will also do that

Electrical on but dryer does not start

Sounds silly, but because it's an electric dryer, it's run on a 220 line. Double check your breaker box to make sure both breakers are in the correct position. If only one breaker is in the correct position, you'll have electrical power, but the drum won't spin.

Maytag Bravos MED6400TB0, Air blows out duct, heating element hot, but clothes not drying. When I open the dryer door there is no hot air that comes out, but the heating element is hot.

You will need to check all the duct work for lint buildup. This is the reason clothes won't dry or take a few cycles to dry.

Code f2

That is a user interface failure code. You will have to contact Maytag to interpret exactly what that means. That could be displaying for any number of reasons.

I have the same problem. Technician recommended to replace main control board - didn't help. Now I ordered the user interface board. The self test results in C0 code which stays till reset.

The whole panel works but the time display is dark (no time numbers) if I hit time adjust I can put time on but dryer will sitll not start. I think there was an F73 or F93 error message but we did not...

I wonder if you may have accidentally activated diagnostic mode.
To get out of diagnostic mode press pause /cancel twice or unplug the machine.
I am thinking maybe the you saw an F-23 error which is: exhaust thermistor is open or shorted.

An electrical storm can cause high surge voltages which can cause damage to sensitive components.
You wll have to check the manual to decode the F73 error message.
I presme you've unplugged the device, waited (say) a minute or two, and then plugged it in again ? Doing so will reset most of the electronics (assuming no damage) and has been known to solve some odd symptoms.
