Question about Televison & Video
Hi FIXYA team,
I have also just bought the BD-512 Universal Remote control, and have tried the 'auto seach' facility that is described in the manual that came with the remote as there is no code listed for my TV, which is a FINLANDIA CD 51LZ 6/F. When I do the auto search, my TV suddenly turns OFF, but then I can't do anything else...i.e. turn it back on again unless I do it manually (but the remote still does nothing else after that initial switch off in autp search). So it looks like the remote does find a code, but doesn't store it.
Can anyone help, my original remote has been broken by my little boy and I can't afford to buy a new one at 14.99.
Miss. Caroline Thom
Glad that worked out:) Sorry for the VERY late response. I was away on business and was not doing Fixya! for a while.
Please accept my apologies.

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
