Actually the problem is incorrect installation of Drivers.........so firstly uninstall the drivers from ur CONTROL PANEL and re-install it once again...........if the problem is same, then re-install the XP operating system sp2 with different CD serial and then drivers.....
CAUTION: see thst there is no virus exists in ur HARD DISK.......

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

Sound and audio devices

1) Go to: Start > Settings > Control Panel > Sounds, Speech, and Audio Devices > Audio tab
2) Check what's under "Sound playback: Default device" and "Sound recording: Default device". It these fields are grey and non-clickable, then most probably the audio card driver is missing or less probably the audio card itself is broken.
3A) If you have an original CD of your computer, motherboard, or audio card, insert the CD and install the driver from it.
3B) Or alternatively insert the CD and go to: Start > Settings > Control Panel > Performance and Maintenance > System > Hardware > Device Manager, find any unidentified device in the list, or expand the "Sound, video and game controllers" branch, identify the Audio card > Right click > Update driver... > Install the software automatically > Next
3C) Or alternatively download and install a free driver updater software, e.g. http://www.innovative-sol.com/drivermax/index.htm - let it scan and update all your missing drivers.
P.S. These steps mentioned above are for Windows XP, but will be quite similar on other Windows versions, too.

Can't hear and can't use the mike. Drivers may be missing

Go to the manufacturer's website for that particular computer and download the audio drivers needed for the microphone.

Speakers No longer recognized by my Computer! but pluged in right

Generally this is caused by a conflict of shared files. Try just rebooting your system, this will reactivate your sound card.

No sound on pc all drivers ok but no sound cannot highlight sound device

Go to Device Manager by typing devmgmt.msc in Start--> Run .In the device manager go to Sound and Audio Devices , look that there is no question mark sign present there. If so then your sound drivers were installed correctly. Then go to Control Panel -- > Sound and Audio devices, open it and the check whether you can find any sound device drivers installed. If everything is fine, problem is with the Sound Card or Speakers.
