Hi my 52" Romano Hampton Bay Fan goes in reverse. The remote works for the light but not to control the speed and change the direction. I checked the frequency on the receiver and transmitter are the same. How do I fix this?

IF YOU STILL NEED A HAMPTON BAY ROMANO FAN I DO HAVE ONE LEFT OVER FROM A CONSTRUCTION JOB. IT'S BRAND NEW AND HAS NEVER BEEN OPENED. EVERYTHING IS COMPLETE AND IN THE BOX. IT'S 52" WITH A LIGHT AND REMOTE CONTROL. LET ME KNOW IF YOU ARE INTERESTED BECAUSE I AM GETTING READY TO PLACE AN AD IN THE NEWSPAPER TO SELL IT. WE DON'T HAVE ANY USE FOR IT, SO I AM SELLING IT. PLEASE FEEL FREE TO EMAIL ME AT: IWantThatTwo@gmail.com
I have a solution for you. Call 1-866-600-FANS(3267) and give them the numbers on the side of the receiver. Example: 7067FM-22 (6+5) Variations of this receiver are used by many different manufacturers including Hampton Bay,Emerson,Minka Aire, etc... There is a web site that shows a few examples of this receiver available. http://www.fanmanlighting.com P.S. It helps to know if your Ceiling Fan has a 2nd light above the fan or reverses direction from the transmitter.
