If you are a gamer you will need a minimum of either 256MB or 512MB of graphic memory built into your laptop.

what make is upto you as you will need to research the model you are interested in

the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

Can i install a grapics card into a HP compaq presaro CQ61?

Generally speaking, one of the downsides of laptops is that you cannot upgrade the video on it. I'm pretty sure you're out of luck on this one. If you want a laptop with better graphics, you'll probably have to go buy a new laptop.

What graphics card compatible for ms 7057 mother board

Looks like that motherboard only has PCI slots to use. You can choose any video card that connects to a PCI slot(Not PCI-e, PCI express, or AGP).

I need to have a latest graphics card in my IBM Thinkpad R52. Can I upgrade it or should I go for buying a new laptop instead?

Hi,

I recommend to buy new unit instead of upgrading it!

The old IBM Thinkpad cannot support anymore new graphic cards and the future applications coming and new hardwares.

Laptop choice

I would prefer you go for a DELL laptop. If you want to run high end software then it would be preferable for you to go in for an external graphics card. THe specifications for the graphics card will depend on the type of precessor you choose. I would prefer you go for a core 2 duo processor. You will have an option to customize the graphics card in Dell's website.

256 MB Nvidia GeForce Go 7800 for Inspiron 9400/E1705 Card Failu

Both solutions are wrong. The Dell Inspiron 9400/1705 is a laptop. If you buy a Nvidia GeForce Go 7800 for this laptop, you need to buy a Dell Inspiron 9400/E1705 motherboard for a discrete video card. The integrated video is a Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 950. The integrated video has the video chipset on the motherboard and the discrete video (GeForce Go 7800) has the video chipset on the video card.

Asus F3S Laptop Graphics Card Died

If you have run the laptop in safe mode it uses the standard VGA graphics driver, and this indicates the onboard graphics card is still functioning.
Try connecting and external monitor to your laptop and the boot up your laptop.
Then :-
1. Download the latest graphics driver from ASUS WEB site.
2. uninstall the graphics driver.
3. Reboot the laptop and install the new graphics driver.
4. Shut down and remove the external monitor and reboot.
5. Goto the Control panel - Display and check/set the settings for screen resolution, Colour setting etc.
