If you are using iTunes, point to your iPhone, when connected. In the Device section, from the Music tab, make sure that "Sync Music" and "Entire music library" are both connected. Also, go to Apps tab and see if your computer is, indeed, authorized.

on itunes put in the cd and it will appear in it the select import music and then connect your iphone to itunes and drag the music onto it if you don't have itunes download it for free here: http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/

Connect your phone to your computer.

iTunes should open automatically, if it doesn't start iTunes.

iTunes will recognize your phone and sync.

On the left side of the iTunes windows, click and highlight your phone

Next, click on the "music" tab and choose the option for downloading song (sync entire music library, sync selected songs, etc).

Click the 'sync' button on the lower right to sync the songs to your phone.

After syncing, click the small arrow next to your phone's name to eject your phone...it is now safe to unplug your phone from your computer.

2- Import your mp3 (music files) to iTunes
3-Plug your phone into the computer via the sync cable
