Fabric Softener Does Not Drain

compartment 1: Detergent for pre-wash
(powder)

Before pouring in the detergent, make sure that extra compartment 4 has been removed.

compartment 2: Detergent for the wash cycle
(powder or liquid)

Liquid detergent should only be poured in immediately prior to the wash cycle start.

compartment 3: Additives (fabric softeners, etc.)
The fabric softener should not overflow from the grid.

extra compartment 4: Bleach
! Do not use Hand Wash Detergent because it may form too much foam.

Cleaning the detergent dispenser
Remove the dispenser by raising it and pulling it out (see figure).
Wash it under running water; this operation should be repeated
frequently.

Where do you pour bleach

The detergent dispenser draw where you put in the detergent has 3 sections. The compartment on the far right is for soaking agents. The compartment on the far left is for wash and stain removers (like bleach). The middle compartment is for fabric softeners, fabric conditioners.

The softener is not dispensing, most of it, it's staying in the compartment.

It looks like you need to clean the draw out to remove there should be a clip at back top of draw you push down on clip and pull draw out. after this you can clean out all the draw and where the softener compartment is it should come apart. to put draw back in just slot it back in. Hope this helped.

Soap drawer is filled with water

Our 2 year old washer just started seeing this problem. After removing the detergent dispenser drawer from the washer, cleaning it and cleaning the slot it came from we stopped seeing water retention.

Problem

remove soap draw and strip apart as it is in need of a good clean as the liquids are taken by a syphoning process so the draining holes are clogged.

Water runs out of the detergent compartment when the washer is filling.... what is the problem?

probably soap blocked at back of draw, remove draw and clean out, there is also normally a small pipe where the conditioner goes in and this tends to block

Bosch conditioner drawer

This problem is caused by the compartment not filling up sufficiently to start the siphon action. First ensure that the drawer is clean, especially the siphon tube then, with the drawer removed, check the top of the compartment. You will find various holes that let in the water, make sure these are clean and not blocked with mould. Clean out with mould remover and wire then run a cycle with no washing or softener/detergent in the machine.

Neptune washer detergent department that is on the lid

use vinegar in cleaning it! soap, as it is made of mostly soda dissolves in vinegar.
also vinegar helps remove bad smell on the machine cause by residue dirt from clothes.

Conditioner is not used in the wash cycle

I had the same problem with my Bosch Classixx 1200 Express.
It was fixed today & I now know what to do in the future if it happens. The water gets into the soap/ conditioner dispenser drawer via 2 pipes. One points to the main detergent compartment and the other to the pre-wash and conditioner compartments. The pipes become clogged with a type of mould. This meant that in my machine the water was bypassing the conditioner. I had already removed the drawer and cleaned it up and cleaned the jets above with an old tootbrush but it hadn't solved the problem. The repair guy used a cable tie (one of those that is quite firm & will lock) and pushed it up inside the bigger jets. This loosened the black gunge. Then ran water thru from start of the basic cycles and all is now OK
