On the computer wired to the router.

1. Open an internet explorer browser
2. Go to 192.168.1.1
3. Leave the user blank then "admin" for password unless you changed it.
4. Go to the wireless tab Check the wireless settings If the Wireless network name is Linksys change it.
Cilck save settings.
Go to the subtab wireless security.
Change the security to WPA Personal
then for passphrase put in a password 8 chars or more.
Click save settings.
5. On your computer use the wireless connection to connect to your network name then enter your password

If that does not work or if you have difficulty with the directions just call linksys support 8003267114

I have changed my wirelss router toa Linksys and now need to set up wirelss printing from my HP6110. how do I do this? The new wireless router is a WRT310N.

You will need to check the wireless settings of the
router
is there any computer connected to the router ?
If yes then you can open the router set up page on
that computer.
Router set up page is the page where you can check
all the wireless settings of the router.
IS your printer wireless or it is connected to the computer.
If printer is wireless then you will need to connect to the wireless network.
If it is connected to the computer and you want to share the printer then you will need to enable the file and printer sharing on all the computers.

3 failed attempts to connect HP DV6t laptop

First as a test, turn off the wireless security, and see if the laptop can connect.

If it can connect with security turned off, then it is likely that you are making some type of mistake with the password. (Such as caps lock being on, or having a keyboard error.)

Good Luck!

No internet

Power down your modem and router by unplugging them. Wait 30 seconds. Plug your modem back in and let it cycle through. Wait until it's fully connected. Plug the router in and let it cycle through. That should fix your problem.
