Question about Bose 023795 LCD Touchscreen Remote Control

1 Answer

Lifestyle 50 "No Response"

I've tried to reconnect the interface according to the instructions in the manual, but after holding down the mute button and getting the first beep, the remote will not beep again after waiting the required 10 seconds. What's up?

I spoke with the technical center yesterday, and for the minor sum of $53.75, Bose will fix the unit, if I send them the personal music center (the remote) and the MRI (the thing with all the wires in the back). Guess that's my only choice, but it beats buying a new system.

My remote lights up but continues to post the No Response message. Holding don the mute button doesn't seem to help either.

Cannot program Dish IR remote l03602

You didn't specify if you are trying to program the remote to your TV or receiver. Is it a replacement remote or did it just quit working? I have provided instructions on how to program to your TV or receiver.

Address to receiver:
Remote: All Other Remotes
  1. Go to System Info screen (depending on receiver - press System Info button on receiver panel or pull smart card out till System Info screen appears on TV screen).
  2. Hold down the SAT button until all mode lights light up.
  3. Enter a number between 1 and 15 using the numeric keypad on the remote.
  4. Press the pound (#) button.
  5. Once the SAT button blinks three times, press record. Note: If successful, the number selected in step 3 will appear in the System Info screen under Remote Address.
Remote: Basic Remote (Television Only)
  1. Turn the Television On.
  2. Press and hold the TV Power button for three seconds until the LED flashes.
  3. Press and release the TV Power button.
  4. Press and release the Up or Down Arrow on the remote until the television turns off.
  5. After the television turns off, press and release the OK button.
  6. Test functionality with the TV.
  7. Return to Step 2 if the remote is not able to turn the TV On/Off, change the volume and mute the television.
Please let me know if you have any other questions or problems. Thanks.

My Dish 5.0 IR remote won't program to my new TV, it's an Emerson, the model number on the back is- LC320EMXF. I've tried holding the TV button until all the top lights flashed and then...

You were attempting to perform a power scan initially. The second procedure is manually attempting to address the remote to your TV. I will give you the procedures again so you can try one more time. Emerson TV is one brand we have a low percentage of success getting our remotes to work. If it still doesn't work, we could try replacing the remote.

TV code: 623, 667, 666, 233, 516, 537, 544, 642, 655, 699, 000, 999, 888, and 720.

Remotes: Basic (Television Only)
  1. Turn the Television On.
  2. Press and hold the clear TV button for six seconds until the LED flashes.
  3. Enter the three-digit code using the buttons on the number pad.
  4. Press #. Note: The LED will flash three times.
  5. Test functionality with the TV.
  6. Return to Step 2 if the remote is not able to turn the TV On/Off, change the volume and mute the television.
Remote Power Scan: Basic Remote (Television Only)
  1. Turn the Television On.
  2. Press and hold the clear TV button for six seconds until the LED flashes.
  3. Press and release the red TV Power button.
  4. Press and release the Up or Down Arrow on the remote until the television turns off once every second.
  5. After the television turns off, press and release the # button.
  6. Test functionality with the TV.
  7. Return to Step 2 if the remote is not able to turn the TV On/Off, change the volume and mute the television.

Need instructions for this SK64002 Zenith model remote I can't seem to get it programmed and can't find any instructions anywhere.

Zenith SK64-002 remote programming. Begin programming by holding down the power and mute buttons together until the red LED stays lit. Remote codes are entered like this: Use V- for first digit. CH- for second digit. V+ for third digit. When you are done, press the mute button (small button in center) to enter. Example: Older Sony TVs are code 801. Press the V- button 8 times. (The CH- button doesn't need to be pressed since the second digit is zero.) Press the V+ button once. This is how you enter the code for 8-0-1. Press Mute to save.
