i have the same problem also with my g700 the display go black and the phone restart but till now i didnt find any solution. :(

have you upgraded your firmware? try updating your firm ware to have a fresh operating system. and u can do that in your sonyericsson driver. thats is your SY pc software.

For SMS or MMS the received date and time is based on the mobile operator not with your mobile phone. try to use friend's other SIM card(Mobile network operator should be different than the one currently you have) and check.

I experienced this problem also because I used the same unit. I installed it via USB directly to my PC then after installation was done, i failed to view my files. Then I tried to buy a memory card. Together with the memory card inserted in my unit, I already viewed my mobile and memory files.

hi if u have made an automatic network selection then each time it gets turned whenever u are suppose to go for new environment.. so its better to keep ur network settings as manual and thereby u will be asked everytime if u have a network change..
