the screen works but i cannot hear anyone that calls...so needless to say i will be taking it apart again to see if something was disconnected when putting the parts all back together....best of luck to you....Mjr

Loose wing mirrow

Check this guide as reference for solve ypur problem; this is one DIY about replace Wing Mirror...
1.- Disconnect your negative battery cable, if your Ford Focus has power side mirrors. If it has manual side mirrors, disconnecting the battery is unnecessary.
2.- Pry off the wing mirror's inside sail panel (shaped like a triangle). Insert a trim panel tool between the door skin and the plastic panel to pry it off.
3.- Carefully pull the sail panel away, minding the wiring if the mirror is power-operated. Unplug the electrical harness and set the panel aside.
4.- Open the door and hold the outside part of the wing mirror steady. Remove the mounting bolt with a socket wrench, and then remove the mirror screw with a Phillips screwdriver (the mirror bolt and screw is visible with the panel removed).
5.- Pull the wing mirror assembly from its mount (from the outside). Insert the replacement mirror assembly in place; tighten the bolt and the screw.
6.- Attach the wiring connection to the replacement mirror. Position the sail panel in place and push it against the door to snap it back on.

Hope helps (remember comment and rated this). TY for using Fixya.

How to replace screen?

Remove all screws from beneath battery, Then all other screws on bottom. Next, carefully pry off the very top piece between keyboard and screen. Then carefully pry off keyboard. Don't need to disconnect the ribbon cable connection, just lay they keyboard over to the side to get it out of the way. Unplug the screen cable connections with a small flat-head screwdriver, carefully pry the connection straight off.. Then for the internet card connection that runs from screen to net adapter. Just pull the connections straight off the net board.

Next, unscrew the six screws holding on screen and remove entire screen.

My wing has a blank white screen with a black scratch

i think your solution to your problems is the T-Mobile Wing Flex Cable that must of gotten cut.it is the ribbon cable that allows you to move lcd up and down, the installation of replacing the cable is very hard if you dont know what your doing, trust me your lcd is not broken.

How to change or open Acer Aspire 5100 Notebook's keyboard

Keyboard is easy - just turn computer over, unscrew the screws that connect the keyboard to the laptop and then see if there are any screws on the keyboard itself that must be unscrewed. Pry the keyboard off with a small flathead screwdriver, unplug the ribbon and replace with new keyboard by re connecting the ribbon and then snapping it into place and of course replacing whatever screws you took out. Hard drive - you must first locate whereever it is on the bottom of the notebook, unscrew those screws, take it out and reconnect new one. REMEMBER to take out battery during this whole procedure and put a cloth over the LCD screen so you wont scratch it up.
