Because it is a front tire, and a single tire at that, there is only two things that can cause that a bad faulty tire (inside wire spreading ) or break hanging up. Have first tire checked, but problem is once tire starts wearing on one side it will continue until, replaced. So to not have it happen again and ruen new tire have breaks front and back checked. Thanks mike

My 94 plymouth voyager sounds and acts like a wheel bearing humm. i've replaced front and rear wheel bearings and the humm is still there.

I'd certainly rotate tires to see if noise changes at all, as well as take a good look at tread on front tires, especially for excess or unusual wear on edges, especially outside of right front, if your quite sure the noise is coming from the right side. Does the noise increase, decrease, or stay same, on a left hand turn? Another thing would be to check all motor, and transmission mounts and see if it looks like things may have shifted slightly, or if they appear worn or broken, as well as If engine/transaxle has shifted slightly it can cause similar noises as well. As far as left front bearing goes, I wouldn't rule it out 100% either, unless you are positive noise is from right front area. You have to remember, either way you turn the wheel, will slightly shift either bearing if there is play in it. Rule out easy stuff first like tires.

My front tire wears uneven all the time. the left

Depends on a hundred things ... like tire pressure (#1 problem), how you ride, how you load your bike, how do you stop, are you always turning left (are you in NASCAR?), is it the right size to start with, what is the condition of the pavement, do you allow others to run your machine, is it balanced, is it a one way only tire and maybe on backward?

In my experience, since there are only two tires on my bike, and I don't want ANY trouble with them, I start watching my tires immediately and at any sign of uneven wear, they are gone. I run only high quality tires and I and fanatical about the air pressure.

SYMPTOMS OF BALL JOINT WEAR

If you make a hard right or left hand turn (with steering wheel turned until it stops) you'll hear and feel a pop sensation. When you drive over potholes you'll feel a slight pull to one side.If it is one of the upper balljoints, you can grab the tire with both hands near the top(11 and 1 o'clock) and pull the wheel back and forth. You will feel looseness if the upper balljoint is bad.

I have a vibrating in the front right. At most speeds. When I turn slightly to the left it does not do it.

The problem you describe is consistant with a tire problem. Could be as simple as rebalancing, however since it does not do it when you turn left, it makes this solution unlikely, but not out of the question. I would, based on your description of the problem tend to think that your tire may be slightly out of round from the center to the left side of the contact patch, or possibly a belt separating on the inside. When you turn left, your tire will tend to ride on the right edge, you loose the vibration, which would lead me to believe that your tire is "true" on the right side of the contact area.

The truck vibrates when turning

You could have a bad wheel bearing or out of balance front tire. Without the trailer if you go on a curve the outside tire spins slightly faster than the inside. If you notice more vibration going left, then the right tire is the outside tire.

I drive a BMW 525ix. It recently started to pull to the left. Afetr a front end alignment the dealer rotated my front tires. Now it pulls to the right. They tell me I have a bad tire and that I shoould...

yes you may have a slight pull but shouldnt be noticable. just make sure the tire is not coming apart where it would be unsafe. run your hand over the tread and feel for bulges where the belts are coming apart or where the tread is seperating from the tire. these would be very noticable as usually they feel like a bubble 6 inches or longer and 2 inches or wider and raised about a half inch

Brakes

Vibrating front end under braking indicates a warped rotor or stuck piston. However, your bike is new enough this should not be an issue. Has it been dropped before? Are you noticing odd wear marks on the rotor? It should be more noticable at high speeds though, so that seems a little odd to me. Can you get the front end up somehow and spin it freely, try to pinpoint exactly where the noise is coming from. Maybe check to see if something got stuck between the brake pads and the rotor? You'll need to remove the whole caliper to do it correctly, so make sure not to squeeze the lever if you do. Once you get it back on/reinstalled (just slips over the disk) then pump the lever a few times to restore pressure to the system, otherwise your brakes won't work the first time you try.
