Printer wont print

My printer starts to print, but paper wont feed. Please help! My Lexmark 5150 printer won't pull the paper through the feeder. I found a white roller piece in the printer. It appears that one of the wheels have broken off. Can this be fixed? The printer is in great shape other than this. I've tried taking the paper out and feeding one sheet through one at a time, this worked for 2 sheets but quit after that. It acts as if it wants to pull the paper through but it can't grip it. Please Help

Many resale shops such as Salvation Army, Value Village, Purpleheart Veterans, Americas Disabled, etc, have old printers and on half price sale days can be had for five or ten dollars.

I am sorry to say that it will be more expensive to fix this printer than to get a new one. the only thing you can do is to see if you can get a used one somewhere and use that for parts

Lexmark X4530 won't load paper to copy

Leading cause of paper jams is debris / foreign objects that accidentally fell into the paper feed area. Please try this approach to fix the problem:

  1. Remove the sheets of paper from the feeder.
  2. Grab a flashlight and look inside the feeder for any debris or foreign objects.
  3. If you're willing and physically able, you may also carefully turn the printer over. Any debris should just freely roll out from the feeder.
  4. If feeder is clear, place the printer on the table. Open the printer cover and remove the cartridges.
  5. Check the cartridge area for any obstructions in the paper path.
  6. Close the printer cover.
  7. Re-brick your printer by pulling out the power supply - the black box where the power cord is plugged into. Re-plug after 30 seconds.
  8. When the printer turns on, reinsert the cartridges and load some paper. Try to print again to verify that the problem is fixed.

Hello. I have a Lexmark x4650 printer/scanner/copier and the paper starts to feed thru and then pulls to one side. I am then unable to print my document. Why does this keep happening and how can i solve...

Try to remove the sheets of paper from the feeder. Grab a flashlight and look into the feeder for any foreign objects that might have accidentally fell into it. If feeder is clear, open the printer cover and remove the cartridges. While the printer cover is open, check inside for any obstructions in the paper path. If none, then close the printer cover. Unplug and re-plug the printer into the power source to reset it. When the printer turns on, reinsert the cartridges. Close the cover. Load some paper (avoid overloading). Try to print again.

Paper feeds about half way and then stops. All of the indicator lights come on.

If you get a paper jam, the Paper Jam indicator light promptsyou to clear the paper path. If the paper has just started to feed from thepaper feeder when the jam occurs, pull the paper straight up out of the paper feeder. Open and close the printer cover toresume printing. If the paper jam occurs inside the printer, remove the paper from the output bin. Turn the printeroff, then on. If this doesn't clear the jam, open the printer cover.Remove the print cartridge and cover it.For additional assistance, please contactLexmark Technical Support
