have you try 1 alpha alpha 66831 if that don't work try BEER TIME ( 23378463 ) hope this help :- )

I bought a used Verifone omni 3750 and it says download needed but it won't take any password we have tried. Is the machine just a gonner?

This unit is repairable. Change the battery and do the download needed to bring it back to factory reset. This will set you up for application download. Call Frank 775-338-6634

Need to reset a VeriFone 3750 v501 to its original default state. The program password has been changed and I cannot access to update

Turn off and unplug the Verifone 3750. Wait for five seconds or so and then plug it back in. This will automatically reset the Verifone 3750 and it will reboot and restart.

Reset the shift. Resetting the shift is another reset option available for Omni. Press "Shift," then "#," followed by "1" to reset and change the shift.

Press "Shift," then "#," then "2" to stop a change and keep the shift on the current settings.
Below is your user/install manuals, it's all in there so download each copy for any time later.

I have an Omni 3750 that I bought from a provider. I have since switched providers and now my Omni 3750 reads "download needed no *go variable". My previous provider gave me several passwords...

Verifone 3750 download needed invalid go parameter

Description
This error message means there is a parameter keyed incorrectly and the programming has been lost.

Steps
1. Recall each parameter in the correct download group.
2. If each parameter is correct then make sure the parameters are not keyed more then once in the group.
3. Restart the download.

If you wish to erase application.

it must settle the batch before formatting.

Follow this
1. Press F2+F4 at same time
2. password: 1 Alpha Alpha 66831
3. press more left purple key 2 times
4. press f3 and remove all for ram file and flash file

The password on most vx510's can be reset by pulling battery and clearing RAM. Reassemble, clear Tamper and password will reset to original password (1aa66831). But if the certificate has been changed, only your download provider can help you. Call Frank @ 775-338-6634

Hi Frank, I purchased a used Verifone Omni 3750 on eBay but when I go to download my program it does not accept any of the default Verifone passwords. If I pull the battery & then reinsert the battery, how do I then clear the RAM. I know how to clear the RAM once into the system with the password, but how do you clear the RAM without having the password...or does pulling the battery automatically clear the RAM and revert back to factory default password? Thank you for any help. – Jim Haswell
