Garmin Nuvi GPS 260W not working

A file is probably missing or corrupt in your Nuvi. You can call Garmin at 1-800-800-1020 and their software techs can remotely connect to your computer to check the files on your GPS to see if they are ok or not. There is a method where they create a file with your 25 digit unlock code in a certain directory to unlock the maps, but that information can only be received from Garmin.
