Question about GPX C3960 Personal CD Player
Just dusted off my 2001 model, changed to new batteries, and still get NOTHING. CD doesn't spin, Display is blank.
There's a good possibility batteries may have tarnished or slighty corroded the battery terminals on your unit. When this happens, the batteries can't make good electrical contact through the terminals and therefore, can't deliver power to the unit. In some cases, it is easy to remove the tarnish/corrosion by filing it away using a fine grain sandpaper. I've done this many times with different units with good success. I'm not saying that this may be your problem, but It's something to look into.
