you need to contact who ever you paid, direct by phone and ask them the question

1. Log in to your PayPal account.

4. Select the desired dates.
5. Click View.
6. Click Details next to the refund.

If you paid with your credit card, the money will go back to your card. (It can take up to 30 days for the refund to appear on your card statement.) If you paid with your PayPal balance or bank account, the money will be returned to your PayPal balance.

Pending: If your refund status is Pending, it means that the seller issued your refund but the money hasn't arrived from the bank yet. It usually takes 3-5 days for the money to arrive.

Refunded or Partially Refunded: If your refund status is Refunded or Partially Refunded, it means that the refund is complete. The money should be back in your PayPal balance or on your credit card.
Temporary hold: If your refund status is 'held', it means the transaction was refunded before it has cleared your bank. This process takes 3-5 business days to complete, and the refund will be credited to your balance once the process is completed.

If you paid for these by credit card then get in touch with your credit card company and see if they can help by either contacting the company you bought from or by refunding the purchase.

Seems unfair, but when a firm prints out the conditions of the sale; they have met the requirements of the standard practices. They have only two ways to go; either allow you to get a refund, or apply the down payment to products they sell or producre.

In Paypal there should be a spot with your transactions. All you need to do is click the transaction details and then about halfway down it should say issue a refund and just go through that and it should get it sent back where its supposed to.

Explain the situation and show her the proof of extra payment. If she doesn't refund you, you can take it up with PayPal. Good luck with your issue.
