Turntable motor for Sanyo EM S 8000W microwave.

Thanks for posting this information on FixYa. I will order one and save my microwave from the dump. I was waiting to buy a new one on sale.
How did you manage to find that motor? Just curiosity to help improve my searches.
Thanks again,
Arlle

When we on and start cocking it gives burning smell and smoke. Cocking material not get warm atleast. So solve my problem model sanyo 8000w orange colour 23lit(0.8cu.ft.) em-s3586w,s3586wy

I am sorry to say this but you need to replace your Microwave Oven. It's cheaper to buy a new one than it is to have yours repaired. It sounds like you have wires burning inside the Oven. It is unsafe to even have it plugged in when not using it.

Turntable mechanism is not working

you will have to take it off the wall. There should be three screws in the cabinet above the unit . 1. unplug unit 2 place a large towel under unit to protect stove or cabinet 3 have someone support unit while u remove threee phillips screws 4 the back will hang on the wall rotate down lift and remove. the turn table is usually ran by a rubber belt and motor. Hope this was helpful please rate me

Turntable on my sanyo EM-C6786V MICROWAVE OVEN do not turn wilst cooking

The turntable system consists of the motor, the coupler, the turntable support with rollers, and the tray.

You can see and hear a video of how a turntable motor should sound when you rotate it by hand.

If yours is not set to be off via the control panel, and it won't rotate or it sounds like it's grinding, etc., you may have a bad motor or plastic coupler.

To replace either, you need to unplug power, then remove the bottom cover of the oven. In some brands, you have to cut the motor cover off with snips, then use a screw when reassembling it.

You can find Sanyo UK support, parts and authorized servicers here.

Sanyo Microwave EMS 8000W Turntable motor failed need a replacment?

About the only option is to carefully take the motor apart and see if one of the pins that holds one of the gears has broken.

If you're very careful, you can use super glue to glue parts back in place, but they have to be squeaky clean and dry before applying glue and they must be clamped in placed to bond.

Be sure you hold it shaft side down when you pull the outer cover off.

Good luck!

Microwave turntable does not turn

I have the exact microwave you do (ems8000w), the motor failed and I found this one worked perfectly as a replacement.

The original is impossible to find.

SANYO EM-D9550. Turntable turns when off but not when cooking.

That's sounds pretty strange!

Since I don't have any service data on Sanyos, I'd have to speculate.

I would guess that one scenario that could cause it would be if the turntable were turned off via the control panel, but there was a switch or switch mount problem.

I would refer you to their support people:
