Are you attemptiong to delete them with the camera? Try hooking up to the PC and opening up the folder that they download to >click on Edit>select all> delete. If they will not delete then you probably have a bad card. Anyway try and get the card empty and take it from there.

Memory card symbol has a small red bit on the screen and the camera wont take pictures

It is likely FULL. Try copying everything from the card to your computer. Verify the pictures are on your computer (so they you can delete them from the memory card) and then REFORMAT the memory card while in your camera. You do not want to delete them since it will wear out the memory card prematurely. Memory cards are pretty inexpensive. Buy a second, label them 1 & 2 and alternate. You'll always have plenty of room when a card fills up and you haven't copied them off yet.

I have fujifilm camera 8.2 mega pixels. It wont take pictures or delete, its says PROTECTED. There is some pictures I wanna delete how can I do this?????

Look at the memory card. SD cards have a slide switch along one edge. The position farthest from the contacts locks the card, protecting it from writes. The position nearest the contacts unlocks the card. If the switch is already in the proper position, slide it fully the other way and then back again.

Yesterday my card was working fine, it kept telling me that my card was full so i just deleted older pictures.. Now i'm trying to upload pictures and it is telling me i need to format my card but that will...

Yesterday, did you use the computer to delete the older pictures? Don't ever do that. For now, you can use a card reader to download your pictures to your computer. After they are safely downloaded, format the card in the camera and don't let it get that full again.

How do I delete all the photos off of my olympus FE-310 (formating the card in set up didn't work)

Formatting in the camera should have worked. Make sure the slide switch on the side of the card is in the unlocked position. With most cameras, when you bring up a picture and press the delete button, it gives you the option to delete that one picture or all of them. Have you tried that?

Can't delete old pictures

It depends on the brand or model of camera you are using, but if you cant get how to delete a picture from your camera, simply get a card reader, then remove the memory card of the camera and insert it into the card reader, connect the card reader with your computer, so from your computer you will be able to delete old picture. But I still know that most digital cameras should be able to delete old pictures, simply read your camera manual to see how to delete or you tell me the model and brand of the camera that you are using.

Deleting pics

Hi. I don't know if you accidentally changed something, but I would take all the pictures off. Download them to a pc then format the card. Then, reset the camera back to manufacturer specs. That would fix it.

Memory card

From your description it sounds like your card is full. Are you able to download to your computer? If you are able to do that then try deleting individual photos on the card using the Computer to do so. If you can achieve that then try to Re-format the card back in your Camera. Hope this helps you.

My Camera Wont Let Me Delete Pictures.

I've never come across this camera before so I really can't offer much. If the media you use has a protect tab on it ensure it's switched off or if it's a stick on tab remove it. Check the camera's menu to ensure the photos haven't been locked or the anti delete hasn't been activated. Somebody may have been fiddling with the camera and by mistake or for fun locked the complete card from being deleted. A long shot, but make sure the contacts on the memory card are clean. BMW
