First be sure the tank itself is not leaking. If it is not, you probably have a solenoid valve which is stuck in the open position. There are 2 solenoid operated valves - one for the soap/water solution, and one for rinse. If a solenoid has failed, it will need to be replaced.

My bissell pro heat 2X will not work, no water or solution comes out, what can I do?

I think the instructions should have the user rinse the solution passage with water. The soap probably clogged your spray nozzles. I had the same problem, I used a toothpick to poke to hole open again. The solution sprays only. I can't figure out why the water is not spraying out though.

Water leaks

This model has a resevoir with a diaphram valve. The location of this part in under the clean water tank it has a black round gasket.. Your problem could be a bad resevior or something mechanical with the trigger and rod that when you pull on the trigger, solution is released.

Water and shampoo run out with the trigger in the off position

From your description, you have a problem with your one of the solenoids that may be stuck open. this would require a shop repair.

Have a polti vaporetto 2400 been used 3 times approx but out of warranty heats up ok but wont release steam when trigger pressed.have tried flushing water in tank with no results

these machines like to be used regularly. if allowed to sit (especially after using tap water) they may buld up lime deposits on valves and cause them to stick. you could try filling with vinegar and let set, also tilt it so vinegar runs into valve area. you could heat the vinegar and it will run through the trigger valve area. if this doesn't work you'll need to replace trigger valve.

No suction for the hand held tools

For the attachments, turn the knob on the left to tool setting, that will open the valve at the top to allow suction thru the hose, then squeeze the trigger to spray. Close it when you are done or you won't have suction down below.

If the water is running out, either the valve at the bottom of the tank isn't working right or youy have a water line off, probably have to take off the top cover to check that out.

Too much water coming out.

When you press the trigger an angled piece on the end of the plastic rod attached to the trigger pushes valve button in that then releases fluid. On releasing the trigger, the valve button is supposed to be pushed back out by an internal spring. The button gets sticky with evaporated cleaning fluid and does not come back out, causing fluid to continuously run. Try taking the machine outside, fill the tank with very hot water, pull the trigger, and let the clean, hot water flow through the valve. Perhaps it will free up. If not, the valvle will have to be replace. Either way, once it is working, ALWAYS flush the entire system with hot, clean, clear water to remove any cleaning solution in the system or it will only clog again

Dirt Devil Easy Steamer Deluxe

Follow the plastic extension that runs from the trigger through the length of the handle. This requires more disassembly that at just the trigger. At the end of the plastic extension you will find a triangular-shaped "ramp" that pushes against a "button" plunger that opens the valve that releases solution. When you release the trigger, the triangular ramp retreats and the plunger is supposed to be pushed back out by an internal spring in the valve. This plunger sticks because of accumulated soap from evaporated solution. Try cleaning that valve and plunger by running clean, hot water through the system OR replace the valve. In the future ALWAYS thoroughly flush the system with hot, clean water after using the machine.
