you have to turn off the gps time there is a setting in the menu that you turn off navigation sync or something like that. Go to setup and nav time. It is whatever setting has to do with navigation time

Please help me set the time on a Pioneer DEH-285OMP car radio.

Switch off the radio. Now press clock so that the time is displayed. By trial and error look for the buttons that will increase or decrease the hour reading. Do the same for the minutes. The time will now be set. Actually, very easy, come to think of it.

I cannot set the time, my 880 remote want allow me to set the time!

I saw these posts recently and decided I would try and figure out the time on my Harmony 880.

First, using your Logitech Harmony remote software, version 7.5.0, log on using your login ID and password.

Next, select the remote settings tab, and go to display settings. Select time/display format and check the 24 hour format. (Note: the assumption is that you have already set the 12 hour time before hand, even though is says A.M.) I made this change to my own remote when it was actually was 7:30 P.M.
My remote actually reported 7:30 A.M. at this point. Save your changes online and plug in your remote to your USB port and let the Harmony update your change. Now your remote should be in 24 hour format.

Finally, log back on using the same procedure above only this time, click the check box for 12 hour format, save your changes and update your Harmony 880 one last time. Your finished, your remote should now be displaying the correct time in 12 hour format.
