Did you get this working? if not, try connecting to your computer's USB port over night and turn on again. Install in the cradle in the car - if it goes out or none of the traffic receiver's LEDs do not light, check / replace the fuse in the tip of the power plug or the cigarette lighter fuse in the car's fuse panel.

The fact that it appears on speaker, FM & headphone jack, tells me its a problem in the audio output stage.

I had the same problem. My Nuvi 350 did not power up for a couple of days. I suspected moisture to be the culprit. So I took my wife's hair dryer and blew hot air(in the intermediate setting) into the SD card slot in the GPS for a couple of minutes. Take care not to overheat the GPS or Screen.
Pronto my GPS powered up without any issues.

Download & install the Garmin Web Updater for your computer from their page at:
http://www8.garmin.com/support/collection.jsp?product=999-99999-27
Connect your nuvi to your computer with the USB cable and allow the computer recognize it.
Run the Web Updater program and follow the prompts to update the GPS. When completed, remove the GPS.
The first time that you connect the GPS to the traffic receiver, the GPS will update the software in it. It may take a minute or two to complete. If you have any problems, you can contact Garmin Customer Support at the numbers below:
