Reset dell wireless mouse

A lot of times, when I'm working on a computer, and the mouse freezes a lot, there is malware on the machine. I would download and run Malwarebytes and Superantispyware and let them quarantine anything they find.

No boot no keyboard or mouse

First disconnect all external connections except video, see if system will boot normally (press the power button once on tower to shutdown)

If that works, then connect the keyboard only to the back USB port nearest the NIC. See if the keyboard works. If it does, shutdown and connect the mouse and try again. If it doesn't, try the mouse only. If you localize the problem to either the mouse or keyboard, replace that item.

If neither works, then reset the motherboard junper to reset BIOS defaults. the again, try them one at a time. If they still do not work, then you will need a mothebroard.

Try resetting the channel and see if that helps.
You could probably get the driver from the manufacturer's web site.
Good Luck.

This seems to be a generic mouse, usb / ps2 connectivity. User needs to press the connect / reset button on the receaver and on mouse. generally.. no drivers or cd required.

mouse has battery.

-check battery

-reconnect (receaver and mouse, if receaver doesn't have button, make sure its connected to pc and power is on, then reset.

try ps2 instead of usb or another usb port, might require adapter. (if im not mistaken it comes with the mouse)

-try another pc

= possibly faulty mouse if still not working? It should work with windows drivers, so no cd required.

Monitor says

Try and kill the bios. Find the jumper next to the battery on the motherboard and move it from position 1-2 to 2-3 ... press the power button a few times. then put the jumper back to normal and give it a shot.

I would disconnect the cables first before anything and attempt to boot the system.. if it boots, then start plugging hte cables one after another until you find out what's causing the machine not starting correctly.

Good luck.

CANT GET WIRELESS MOUSE TO WORK

Try changing with a new set of batteries. also try to reset the connection of the wireless mouse and keyboard. you can locate a connect button on both the reciever and wireless keyboard. press both of them together and release them. this would reset the connection. try doing the same for reciever and wireless mouse connect buttons. this should work. also check for any possible alignment issues.

Microsoft wireless multimedia keyboard 1.0A

I suppose you should reset the keyboard and mouse and maybe the access point itself. Try find small buttons on each devise and press them AT THE TIME. You may need somebody's help. Those buttos can by hidden under mouse and keyboard and should be on the top of the access point. This depend on the model, so please reffer to a manual.
