Question about Sony FD Trinitron WEGA KV-27FS120 27" TV
When I go to turn on my TV, it clicks a couple of times and never turns on. The red light then blinks twice for a couple of minutes and then stops. What is wrong and how much do you think it cost. I believe the TV is only 2 or so years old. Help Please
Have you ohad electrical prooblems or lightning in your area?
Im sorry to inform you that a red light blinking is an indication that the main power supply is good BUT the sweep supply has a problem .. Most likly the high voltage transformer as well as the horizontal transistor is bad. if you have no solid state repair experience, you will not be able to fix this set on your own. You have to troubleshoot the board and test the circuitry.
I could be simple as a fuse but unlikely. Is there a Sony repair shop in your area?
