Can i convert a 32 bit to a 64 bit

You can use the Upgrade option during Windows 7 installation, which preserves your files, settings, and programs, only if you're currently running a 32-bit version of Windows Vista and you want to upgrade to the 32-bit version of Windows 7. Similarly, if you are running a 64-bit version of Windows Vista, you can only perform an upgrade to a 64-bit version of Windows 7. For more information, go to Upgrading to Windows 7: frequently asked questions on the Windows website.
If you want to move from a 32-bit version of Windows to a 64-bit version of Windows 7 or vice versa, you'll need to back up your files and choose the Custom option during Windows 7 installation. Then, you'll need to restore your files and reinstall your programs. For more information about performing a custom installation, see Installing and reinstalling Windows 7‍.

  • If you start your computer using a 64-bit Windows 7 installation disc or files, but your computer isn't capable of running a 64-bit version of Windows, you'll see a Windows Boot Manager error. You'll need to use a 32-bit Windows 7 installation disc or files instead.

I have printmaster version 18 and I've upgraded my system to the 64-bit version of Vista. What updates are needed for printmaster?

Contact the Printmaster people to get the updated drivers and software for the changeover to 64 bit Vista.

OTherwise, look on their CD or DVD for a folder that is identified by Vista and under that, a folder for the 64 bit drivers. There may be a folder on the distribution DVD or CD which can help you make that change.

Problems installing and running printmaster platinum 18 on HP touchsmart windows vista computer

You might try right clicking on the install files and going to compatibilty mode under properties.change it to work under windows xp or a closer match to what the program is designed for. This should solve the problem. you may have to do it for the install and then for the run file. Good luck. Hope this helps.

Vista has features that can run a wider range of software. You probably won't be able to run it on the xp computer. There may be a driver available, but I'm not really into that.

I am trying to install my software on my new computer, ia the Windows Vista

Read the system requirements of the software...if it is software made for another operating system ..... Most programs written for Windows XP also work in this version of Windows, but some older programs might run poorly or not at all. If an older program doesn't run correctly, use the Program Compatibility Wizard to simulate the behavior of earlier versions of Windows.
• Open the Program Compatibility Wizard by clicking the Start button getopencontent.aspx?assetid=4f6cbd09-148c-4dd8-b1f2-48f232a2fd33&documentset=en-us&renderkey=xml, clicking Control Panel, clicking Programs, and then clicking Use an older program with this version of Windows.
NoteTo find out if your programs (or programs you plan to buy) are compatible with Windows Vista, go online to the Windows Vista Compatibility Center. This website contains a comprehensive list of programs, computers, and devices that have been tested to work with Windows Vista.

By the way did you get microsoft office with your new PC, if so you can download a "word plugin" from microsoft which will allow you save to PDF, there are also several "freeware" converters that can be downloaded. most install as a "PDF printer" you just print the file to the PDF printer rather than your default, then they give you an option to "resave" as a PDF

I just installed PrintMaster Gold version 18 into my computer with Windows Vista. All I can do is get the screen that wants me to set my screen resolution so my screen is huge! I cannot deal with that and...

This program I just purchased is Print Master Gold Version 18. I cannot get the program to work AT ALL!
It asks me to set my screen resolution so the print and graphics are very very large and I cannot access commands such as "apply", etc. If I decline to have the screen resolution changed, then the program just shuts down and I cannot get it to work at all!
I do not feel that I should have to pay for support on this problem, but I do feel that I should get positive help!
Thank you.
