Take out all your ram and put one in the first slot turn on your system. if this does not fix it take out that ram and put another stick into the slot and power on your pc. continue this process with all your ram sticks if this does not fix your issue find a stick of ram you know works and try that

Fan ongkmb11 amp

most of amplifiers having temperature sensor that is attached to the output stage, since these components receive a very small signal and doesn`t cause to heat up, the fan will not start,in short,if the sound on the dial setting is on minimal, the fan will not start immidiately.in the same manner,if you set the volume to almost 1/4 of its range, and then you switch it on,the fan will start shortly.i hope it may help this hints to your problem

After powering on monitor says no sync

I've almost the same problem. When the system turns on the monitor doesn't sync. After a variable trials with down/up the sync is enabled and the computer starts.A very clear event occurs : when the monitor can''t sync ( and system doesn't boot)you can hear very clear a high fan rotation. When I look/hear in the system the Isuspect the cpu fan. The system boots ( monitor syncs) when the fan rotationgoes from high to low. So the system hangs on an internal check on the rotation speed of the cpu fan.I've googled a lot , but until now doesn't find an answer . Possibilties which I think about : replace cpu fan , clean cpu fun ( but it looks clean).I cannot measure the fan rotation speed when the system is hanging. At normal rotation all info can retrieved witth the program cpu-z.Did you already have a solution ?

Hi, I have a dell dimension 5100. I inserted a 1gb ram but it was the wrong one. I took it out and replaced it with the old ones. Now the computer doesn't boot properly - turns on but doesn't load...

Remove all the memories and insert them again, make sure you insert them in the proper way as the slot is keyed.
Memory issues can be identified by the beep sounds.
If you have more than one memory, remove one and insert only one of them and try to boot.
Hope this will help.

On line videos stop and start.

It sounds like your internet speed is not quite fast enough, or the site you are watching the videos from doesn't have the right bandwidth. If I have that problem, I tend to load the video page, then leave it on the page for a few minutes, until enough of the video has buffered.

My tower turns on and makes this consistent beeping sound. And nothing shows on the screen.

I believe from my own past that the beeping sound is an over-heating alarm, and that you need to get more fans installed inside. Try taking off the door to your tower, and point a fan in on it and turn off the computer, wait about 5 minutes with the fan set to high to see if that solves your problem. If it doesn't then I suggest you take it in to the shop or wait for some more possible answers on here.

Hope this helps!

It sounds like a power supply issue or a bad video card.If you have an after market video card remove it and run the video off the mother board. If that wont work look inside and make sure all wires are plugged in.Now if it still wont work. The last thing is a reinstall the OS.

mikespreafico@yahoo.com is my email if none of that works let me know.

Computer can't find sound device

START - My Computer (RIGHT CLICK) - Properties - Hardware Tab - Device Manager button - click on the sound, video and game controllers - on the drop down menu you should see sound codec - either right click and UPDATE DRIVER - or delete sound codec’s and restart, XP will install suitable sound drivers.
If that doesn’t work then try installing sound drivers from the computer manufacturer.
If you have a big X on the sound codec or your third party drivers than it’s a hardware issue.
If replacing the drivers’ doesn’t work then it's a hardware issue. If you have onboard sound card then you will need to replace the mother board. I hope it's under warranty.
