I am having the same exact problem. My mm50 worked perfectly for the past 2 years, but just recently the power went dead. No blue or red light. I plugged into multiple outlets, but to no avail.

The same thing happened to my mm50 today. It was playing tunes for about half an hour then suddenly crackled a bit then went completely dead. Tried different power cables but no luck. When I try and switch them on the button goes red, then flashes red, then goes off completely. Bought them on ebay about a year ago but they were brand new at the time. I am very disappointed as this seems to be a common problem with these speakers and no apparent cure.

I am also experiencing the same problem. For a while the speakers were running off of the reserve power (i.e. in travel mode, when the light turns purple instead of blue) but now that that ran out, the speakers will just not turn on no matter whichever outlet they are plugged into. At one point the power button did flash red for a few seconds when pressed, now nothing happens whatsoever if i press it - I think this means the spare power has completely ran out. Too bad...great speakers...this seems to be a common problem. I am going to try to contact logitech (i dunno if a spare power cord would do the trick?)

I have exactly the same problem; makes you wonder whether this is 'built in' obsolescence.

Anwser to your simple problem when your logitech mm50 when it will not power up. there are two reisistors next to the power input jack, all you need to make it work like new is re-solder both resistors and caps around the power in-put jack board and it should work like new. Mine works when plugged in, but dead when not plugged. Found fuse, subtly hidden in lower part of AC power receptacle; pried out with small screw driver. Looked good & passed ohmmeter check. I loved the beast when it functioned. It spent a year in the garage; it didn't work when I brought it in. Charge light on for 8 seconds after plugging in, then off.

check the battery if you've had the phone a year chances are the battery is defective, cell phone battries usually last only 200-300 charging cycles have it tested by a battery dealer or just replace it once you get it to turn on make sure your charging port is charging the phone

1. Verify the source of the signal - Look for any antennas that may have been hooked up, and verify connection has not been moved or removed.
2. Test with a different output by plugging in some headphones, and recheck the volume through the headphones.
3. Check that the A/B switch for the speakers has not been moved, and that they are switched to the correct speakers.
4. Try AM and FM for any signals both with speakers and then headphones.

Good luck!

My mm50 speakers just stopped working

The power supply adapter is most likely the culprit. You can find a 12V Logitech mm50 replacement here: https://www.digidave.co.uk/jshop/product.php?xProd=4762

Hello

I had the same problem with my computer, where there was no sound because it showed that there was earphones plugged in.

The problem was the the earphone unit on my front USB pannel was a bit worn out, so it shoted out. I just took it to a repair shop and an hour later all was fixed up perfectly for very cheap. You should maybe try it. Please rate if this worked for you.

Best regards
