I have a 2002 XL7 and the fuse for the dash lights and tail lights keeps blowing. I've changed it three times now - the lights will work for a few days and then the fuse will blow again.

Tail light/dash light fuse keeps blowing

The dash lights and parking lights should be on two different fuses.
You may have a problem with the headlight switch, or something in the harness.

Hi,
Looks like the park light harness got a short circuit.
Check the wire harness leading to the tail light. One of the power wire( usually red wire ) is stripped off the rubber insulation and touches the metal body ground. Check also the tail light connection and bulbs base contact points..
When you found the wire insulate it by using any plastic electrical tape.
Thanks for asking FixYa!

2002 Isuzu axiom cluster lights and tail lights out

Don't try a higher fuse , it just makes things worse by adding extra burn to the problem.. First make a test lamp with a 21w bulb ( indicator size) .You now have a bulb with two wires attached , insert the "test bulb" across where the fuse should be.
When you switch on the circuit concerned it will glow BRIGHT as it is getting a POS (+) and a NEG (-) ie blowing the fuse (short circuit) in the fuse box and therefore a BRIGHT bulb.
As you disconnect and eliminate or disturb the problem the bulb will immediately glow DULL ( in series contact now) and no longer a short circuit . As you check the circuits the illumination will change and, your on the money ! Let's know how you get on , Good luck
