Hi, I installed Avid Free on my OS X 10.4.10 the results of this were catastrophic, my mac got into a loop, it would get to the icons on desktop and then go back to black. What to do? Is there a problem with the avid or the 10.4.10 operating system?

Re: OS X 10.4.10 Stuck Loop
H MerryAnn I run Avid on my mac and have not experienced what you describe. Avid uses a lot of memory. The first thing I'd look at is do you have enough memory to run the OS and Avid. If that is OK check your screen res' (the system normally warns you if that is incorrect) If you have the install software try uninstalling and re-install to see if that helps.

Usually a Splash Screen loop indicates that the Phone's Software / OS is corrupt and therefore will not boot.
I recommend having the device reverted back to Stock. It is likely that the Root firmware was not compatible or the Flash process was done incorrectly.
You didn't say what is the OS but when you encounter this situation it is hard disk. I suggest rescuing data first. If you know about computers you can take the disk out, mount it in another computer, rescue data. Buy another disk and install OS and data after that. If you don't know how to do this take it to a shop.
Hi, try pressing the power button and holding it for 10 seconds. Then wait a while. Turn it back on, you may press F12 or other key when the Samsung Logo appears (before Windows Logo) to see the boot options. Choose the one to check for any errors or anything else - Run diagnostics. Then also you may scan your hard drive for any failures.
A routing loop is a condition in which a packet is continuously
transmitted within a series of routers without ever reaching its
intended destination network. A routing loop can occur when two or
more routers have routing information that incorrectly indicates that a
valid path to an unreachable destination exists.
The loop may be a result of:
Incorrectly configured static routes
Incorrectly configured route redistribution (redistribution is a process
of handing the routing information from one routing protocol to another
routing protocol and is discussed in CCNP-level courses)
Inconsistent routing tables not being updated due to slow convergence in a changing network
Incorrectly configured or installed discard routes
