Locked up HP Ipaq Pocket PC

My kids borrowed my pocket pc and tried to turn it on with the wrong password several times. When I got it back from them, I'm jammed up. I've tried the reset hole in the back and still nothing. It brings up the password screen -- I enter the correct password and nothing happens. Frozen. Help! At the Password screen it is frozen, even with a reset.

I forgotten my HP iPAQ 112 Classic Pocket PC password. Is there any solution besides trying to remember the password?

you can try a hard reset(hold the 2 corner buttons down then using stylus insert in the small hole on the back for soft reset) this will restore factory settings. if you have sync folder on your computer you should be able to retreive contacts, pics, etc. hope this helps.
