Question about Belkin Wireless G Plus MIMO (F5D9230-4) Router (1010835)
In setting up the router through the setup wizard and I been asked to enter the username and password to my ISP (Time Warner) for internet connection. After enter my username and password I get the error message that it can not login into the ISP.
Per my ISP tech support, they do not require a username and password to access the internet. he mention I needed a router username and password.
Any advise would be appreciated.
Yes time warner is a cable connection and they dont require a username and pasword. You can set up the router manually by accessing its set up page. By default the router's IP is 192.168.2.1. Make sure to set the wan connection type to dynamic, change the wan mac address or clone your pc's mac. Then save the settings. Check your internet connection.
