How are you going to find an owner's manual if you don't know what fan you have? You can't get a new transmitter without knowing what type of receiver you have.

1) Your subject line reads NO SOUND.Page 26 of the owner’s manual contains a trouble shooting guide and says for PROBLEM: No sound or poor sound, Adjust volume control on remote control or main unit, or Press the MUTE button to restore sound. I thought it might be the MUTE BUTTON.You can get a copy of the owner’s manual for free here http://tv.manualsonline.com/manuals/mfg/symphonic/sc313d_sc319d_1.html you do have to join to get the free owners manual in PDF form.After I joined I had to re-click the “get this manual” button.When I did, it brought up the PDF of the owners manual and I saved it to my computer in a folder I named purchases.
