My board seems to have some sort of short associated with the PS keyboard port. When it doesnt turn on, I unplug the keyboard just long enough to hit the power switch.

My Asus P5B-E wont start. I have power led blinking after i turn on power on and computer is just blinking and making sound like he is starting but can't. First time this hapens i took 15 minutes and...

this can be caused by a number of reasons

Test your PSU or replace it if your power supply units fan is not working your PSU is faulty

One bad lead can cause a computer to continue on a cycle or to shutdown or fail to detect/ boot up a computer hard drive

Test all leads that attach to your hard drive including electrical extensions,IDE,SATA

the leads from your "((MOTHERBOARD TO YOUR HARD DRIVE))" make sure they have a secure connection and are not faulty or just replace them they could be faulty
make sure all leads that are attached to your drives dvd\cd 3 1/2 inch floppy have secure connections and are not faulty even the electrical extensions or just replace them they could be faulty a computer needs its connections to continue its cycle and have an end so any faulty leads will end up with a computer error even something as small as a faulty electrical extension or fan lead can cause this problem

computers need all of the data and electrical current to travel through every working device and to have an end to be able work properly

a motherboard and a hard drive any leads between them will fail before your motherboard or your hard drive if its a flat ribbon 40 pin type IDE replace it this will be the first to fail check all electrical power input and extensions make sure they are securely seated even the cd/dvd floppy drives need to have current go through make sure these drives are working

also check the Cmos battery and computer ram make sure they are securely seated with no dust built up or in the sockets

hope this helps you

This might work.
Power off your computer.
Remove your "ram" memory stick(s).
With a pencil eraser, very gently rub the gold metal contacts on the sticks. (all you're doing is cleaning them).
Reinsert the ram and try rebooting.
Let me know how it works out.

My PC wont boot

This is a sign that the bios is corrupt and you will have to remove the side of the pc tower and on the motherboard look for a 2 terminal commector, this can be labelled CLRCMOS, CLRRTC,or a 3 pin JBAT1, there will be a plastic cap if its a JBAT1 terminal, put from pins 1-2 to pins 2-3 then back again, if its the others then they have to be shorted by placing a cap across the two terminals. restart pc and press f2 to reset time and date and save and exit, it should then boot back up. If your problem continues to not allow you into the bios, the chip is faulty and you will have replace the motherboard.

D915GAG problem

this cant have anything to do with only replacing a cooler, unless when fitting it you have caused some sort of stress damage to the motherboard. Check all seatings of ram, graphics card and power connections in case they have been dislodged. I assume you have tried resetting the cmos settings in case there is a corrupt bios for some reason. The only other check is to see if the cooler is starting up straight away, as the processor may be shutting down if there is no fan running, or the motherboard is reading the temperatures incorrectly and not enabling you to boot.
