Pull machine away from the wall and tip back, make sure you get as mush water out of the tub as you can. a shop vac works the best. the pump is on the right front of the machine, it has a fan blade on the bottom of it, you can also tip the machine back and try to spin the pump to get it to pump out the water, also check to see if anything is wrapped around the fan blade, ( have seen socks and dryer sheets stall the pump). no tools required, there is a tab that you push while you turn the pump. hope this helps

Came up with fault code 37 on the screen and wont spin whats wrong with it?

Fault Code 37 is "Pump Blocked Error" which means for some reason the machine did not drain properly. This can be due to a blockage in the pump such as a lint ball or wire from a bra that got down in the pump, perhaps a safety pin, etc. It also can be caused by objects that get past the pump but become caught inside the diverter valve, which is downstream from the pump. One other thing to be aware of, and this trips people up sometimes- a pump that is failing ELECTRICALLY can also cause the same error. If the pump is overheating and shutting down, the machine will not drain and the control will properly sense that there is still water in the tub. I've suggested in the past that this error be renamed "pump error" because the term "blocked" makes people look for an absolute condition.

Consult the tech sheet for instructions on how to activate the pump and see if it runs. If you hear a "hum" sound, the pump is not able to turn and further analysis is required. Check the water pump, located in the right-front of the machine as viewed from the front. Always unplug the washer before attempting to work on it. There is an external cooling fan (black plastic) on the pump motor that you can try to spin by hand. It should offer very little resistance. If you find it difficult to turn, chances are the clog or blockage is right there in the "sump" where the pump is located.

When pump shuts off, there is a knocking...maybe a flap not shutting?

The sound you are hearing is the check valve.
Usually this valve is just above the pump.
It's nothing to be concerned about, it's a normal
noise, or it's the nature of the beast.

All my best to you.

Error code 37

37 error is 'pump blocked' It shows when there is little or no change in water level when draining.. It can be caused by a number of problems, but far and away the most common reason is that the pump has something jammed in it! It isn't a big job, but it can be tricky, and the resistance on the pump motor should be checked in case it needs replacing.. A faulty pump can damage the electronics. Empty the machine by baling it out because when the pump is removed any water in the machine will flow from the pump port. A quick job for a tech! Good luck....Nomess

Screen has code 37 on it

Hi, welcome!
Code 37 is a "pump blocked error" code. Typically this code is triggered when the machine does not sense a change in the water level when called for. Check for debris caught in the pump, either in the impeller for moving water or in some cases, the external cooling fan impeller (exposed underneath the machine) gets snagged with a piece of fabric softener sheet (such as "bounce") and this will stall the pump and trigger a code 37.

I hope you find this info useful and thanks for using Fixya.
